# Privacy

slimdroid is built so that there is nothing to collect: the tool runs in your browser, the site has no analytics or cookies, and scans never leave your computer.

## The tool

The scan, your marks, journal and archived app files are stored in your browser's database on your computer. The tool makes no network requests while you work, and the page is served with a policy that forbids it; you can also confirm this in the browser's Network tab. "Wipe all local data" in Settings erases everything.

## This website

No analytics, no cookies, no advertising, no third-party scripts and no web fonts. The site is served by Cloudflare Workers. As the hosting provider, Cloudflare processes the technical details of each request (such as IP address and browser type) and may keep standard logs under [its own privacy policy](https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/).

## Donations

Card donations are made on a page hosted by Stripe. This site never sees card numbers. Stripe tells the site the amount and the email address you enter so that a receipt can be sent, and its privacy policy applies to that data. Bitcoin donations go to a public address on the blockchain; the site collects nothing about the sender.

## USB debugging

USB debugging gives a connected computer control of your phone. Use it only with sites and software you trust, and switch it off when you are done. [How to enable and disable it safely](https://slimdroid.com/guides/enable-usb-debugging).
